Date – Monday 9th – Thursday 12th February 2026 (4-days)
Who it's for: Young individuals between 14 and 18 years old, who are interest in work experience
What’s This All About?
Interested in engineering and how new homes get connected to water? In this placement, you’ll join the team that works with developers building new houses. You’ll learn how we design and plan water mains, including where they connect to existing systems and the best route for new pipes. This is a key part of civil engineering and infrastructure planning. You’ll also get an overview of the whole department and, if possible, visit a construction site to see the design come to life.
