Working within our HD Water Infra department, you have the chance to join the team as a Senior DST where your main aim is to deliver effective and efficient delivery of all capital works within HD.  While mentoring and up skilling the wider team. Furthermore, you will be ensuring that any potential work needed for our customers is located and resolved in a timely manner and to the highest standard for our customers.

 

 

With the end goal of achieving Hafren Dyfrdwy’s ODI Targets (performance measure), you’ll be involved in a number of daily activities, such as; supporting resource (people, assets, IT and finance) and working with your colleagues to ensure that we meet out regulatory and company targets, enabling us to deliver the highest quality experience to our customers for the lowest cost.

 

 

Plus, as our new Senior DST, you will get to utilise your Water Network and customer service skills, as you will also be managing contractors, mentoring and training our great team!

This role will be working across our HD region, while reporting into your team manager you will be working closely with a variety of departments across the business. You will also support our water network teams on standby.

 

 

 

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE 

 

 

 

Your key accountabilities in helping us will be:

 

 

• You will ensure that all work in your areas of control is carried out in a manner whereby no-one gets hurt (employee, contractor or member of the public) as a result of the work we do.

• You will work collaboratively while co-ordinating staff, information, and resources to enable prompt delivery of all capital and enabling works.

• You will be working effectively with all key stakeholders, particularly with our capital teams, Water Networks, TCS, Interventions/Network Control and third-party contractors to ensure safe and effective delivery of all work across our water network.

• You will support all business functions to ensure we deliver cost effective, innovative methodology for all capital and enabling works across our regions within HD.

• You will need a Full UK driving License as travel across the company will be required.
