We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Hafren Dyfrdwy Team as a Community Connector.

 

This role will be responsible for working with our customers, communities and external organisations face to face to deliver our Community and Vulnerability strategy across our region, together with providing training/coaching and expert advice to frontline teams on how we can support those who need extra help.

 

As a Welsh company we are a proud supporter of the Welsh language. As this role involves working closely with our customers, schools and other external organisations, speaking Welsh is essential for this role.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

 

Your key accountabilities in helping us on our journey will be: 

  • Organising, managing and hosting external community events independently or in partnership with external organisations.

 

  • Working closely with schools and wider communities to educate our customers and future generations on water efficiency and how look after one of life’s essentials.

 

  • Support our customer facing teams with any queries or when they identify customers that may need extra support.

 

  • Identify and implement improvements to the customer journey for affordability support and drive efficiencies within the operational teams.

 

  • Track performance of support schemes and services to ensure that KPIs are met.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

 

We are looking for a candidate who has confidence when engaging with Stakeholders at all levels across the business and externally, together with experience of working in a pressured reactive environment – internally and externally with members of the public

 

 

You’ll need to be able to remain calm under pressure and be able to work autonomously. The successful individual must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Welsh.
