We’re looking for a Waste Water Recycling Leader to join a high-impact leadership team who are at the heart of Wastewater Recycling—owning the performance, compliance and future of a critical service that protects the environment and supports our communities.
You’ll lead a large, dispersed team (c, 120 – 200 people) driving exceptional standards across health and safety, environmental compliance and customer outcomes, while delivering against ambitious financial and operational targets.
This role is about leadership that inspires—building a strong, high-performing team culture, driving continuous improvement, and challenging the status quo to find smarter, more effective ways of working. With responsibility for over 200 sites and 1,000 pump stations, a £50m+ operational budget and £200m+ supporting capital investment, you’ll balance performance, risk and long-term value.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
A driven and credible leader who can engage teams, challenge performance and deliver results is what we’re looking for!
You’ll bring strong experience managing assets, people and budgets, with a proven track record of improving performance and embedding a strong health and safety culture.
Being confident influencing stakeholders and making commercially sound decisions, you’ll be technically capable in wastewater and quick to grasp complex processes. Most importantly, you’re passionate about developing people, leading change and finding better ways to deliver outstanding service for customers.
