EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Working within our forward-thinking Water Treatment department we are looking for a Team Manager to lead a team of skilled operational and maintenance technicians (circa 20 people including 2 Senior Techs). You will be responsible for the Central groundwaters; therefore, knowledge of water treatment, maintenance, regulatory requirements, employee relations and procedures is key, however you will have support available while you develop into role.

This role will be working out of Tettenhall Depot, Wolverhampton but will involve some travel in the surrounding area. You will also participate in an out of hours standby rota covering the Central area.

Sound like you? Then read on.

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:

•  Providing a clear direction, setting appropriate standards of behaviour and motivating and empowering team members.
•  Responsible for the performance of all assets within the Central groundwater area.
•  Good interpersonal skills and communication skills are paramount in this role as you build a good network of contacts across the business and the supply chain to support delivery.
•  Strong stakeholder management is key to be able to lead and develop collaboration with other supporting functions within the business and externally.
•  A continuous improvement mind set with the ability to promote investment to process improvements with an eye for safety and efficiency is important to us.
•  Budget experience is preferable but not essential. In the role you will plan and control your budget and deliver efficiency savings in line with Company’s Operating Cost challenge.
•  Working in a fast-paced environment you’ll have the ability to make prompt, clear decisions which may involve tough choices or considered risks.
