LET’S TELL YOU MORE
We’re looking for a strategic and driven leader to head up our new proactive maintenance team in Waste Water Recycling, playing a critical role in delivering environmental, operational and financial performance across our wastewater assets.
As our PRIME Lead (that’s Proactive Improvement Maintenance by the way!), you’ll ensure delivery of our commitments by leading a high-performing team to improve asset reliability, reduce pollution and ensure compliance, as well as the health and safety of our teams. You’ll own the financial forecasting process and provide clear insight on risks and opportunities. Acting as the key link between Operations, Engineering and Finance, you’ll drive data-led decisions and performance improvements across the business.
Working side‑by‑side with our Head of Waste Water Recycling, you’ll turn insight into action—developing medium and long‑term strategies, driving an outperformance culture, and ensuring our operational teams are delivering against both in‑year objectives and long‑term targets.
You’ll also lead governance engagement, influence investment decisions, and build strong relationships across key stakeholders in Customer Operations, Engineering and Finance, all while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
This is a regional role where you’ll be travelling to our sites across the Midlands so a driving licence is key!
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for an inspirational and driven leader who can inspire and lead large, specialist teams to deliver outstanding performance within a complex, fast-paced operational environment. Comfortable working across a complex organisation, you’ll influence senior stakeholders and drive accountability through strong governance and clear decision-making.
With solid experience in maintenance and a solid understanding of wastewater operations and environmental performance, you’ll combine commercial awareness with technical expertise to deliver value and asset improvements. You’ll bring a strong track record of improving performance across operational areas, with the ability to translate data and insight into meaningful action.
Above all, you’ll be an authentic, visible leader who empowers others, develops talent, and champions safety, compliance, and customer outcomes at every opportunity.
Skills and experience are important, but character, positivity, and a caring attitude matter too. We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We seek people who get involved, want to be part of something bigger, and make a difference because they care.
