EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our Network Control team have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Telemetry Control Technician on a permanent basis at our head office in Coventry.
In your new role you’ll be responsible for the effective operation and control of our operational service, assets and liabilities for waste assets. This is 24/7 x 365 shift-based role including weekends and bank holidays and will focus on ensuring effective services.
Some of your key accountabilities will include:
- Manage and respond to eSCADA telemetry alarms (the company’s telemetry system).
- Manage asset failure or problems on the wastewater system including incident support.
- Proactively manage the Network through alarm management and telemetry control.
- Alert customer contact and operational teams of asset failure that may lead to customer contact and ensure resolution is in place and is effective.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have experience of working in a reactive, time pressured environment, carefully organizing tasks. You would also have had experience of influencing and communicating to others at all levels to build relationships in a collaborative manner to get the desired outcome.
If you have had any technical experience of sewerage networks or waste water processes on a sewage treatment works, this would be desirable.

- Salary approx. £30,400 + shift allowance + weekend working allowance, meaning the total package is around £38,000
