If you want to do more, because you care, we want you on our team.
Within our Capital Delivery department, we are looking for a Senior Programme Manager to join our Batch X delivery team.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Based out of our Tamworth office, you’ll lead the delivery of complex capital programmes across Batch X, providing strategic direction across multiple project teams and ensuring successful outcomes across cost, schedule, risk and performance.
Operating above Lead Project Manager level, you’ll be accountable for integrating projects into a cohesive programme, managing interdependencies and resolving complex risks that impact delivery.
You’ll work closely with Delivery Business Leads, PMO and Commercial teams to shape programme strategy, support investment planning and ensure delivery aligns to regulatory commitments and customer outcomes.
Alongside this, you’ll provide leadership to project management teams, driving consistency, performance improvement and a strong safety-first culture across the programme.
You’ll also deputise for the Delivery Business Lead where required, representing the programme in senior governance forums and supporting key decision-making.
Given the nature of the role, you’ll spend time across sites and offices to support delivery.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
- You’ll bring strong experience leading complex programmes or portfolios within a capital delivery or regulated infrastructure environment, with a track record of managing multiple project teams and driving performance at scale.
- You’ll have proven experience operating at senior programme level, including managing programme-level cost, schedule, risk and governance, along with the ability to resolve complex delivery challenges and interdependencies.
- A strong understanding of NEC contracts and large-scale delivery environments is important, alongside experience working closely with commercial, PMO and senior stakeholder groups.
- You’ll be a confident leader and communicator, with the ability to influence across internal teams, delivery partners and supply chain organisations.
- You’ll also bring a proactive and strategic mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation and delivering value for customers.
- A project management qualification (or equivalent experience) and a full UK driving licence are required.
