We are currently looking for 2 Senior Programme Controls Managers to work within our Strategic Delivery Office (SDO).
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Based from any of our Capital Hubs (Finham, Raynesway or Shelton), the Senior Programme Controls Manager will lead key critical workstreams within the Strategic Delivery Office (SDO). You will lead a team, working with key stakeholders to drive programme and portfolio performance, continuously challenging and innovating to improve performance and drive continuous improvement.
You will provide robust leadership as well as nurturing the development of your team and their success. With excellent technical and strong leadership and stakeholder management, you will play a key role in establishing a best-in-class SDO, including monitoring and reporting on progress against the delivery plan, long range planning, capacity, financial and resource planning.
Experience in managing multiple projects and handling large datasets. The ideal candidate should have skills in strategic planning, risk management, and budget control for large programs, combined with the ability to analyse and interpret big data to drive better decision-making and optimise project outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
You will have a proven track record within a PMO or SDO environment. You will have experience of leading teams of internal and external resource to deliver high risk, high complexity and high value programmes, and you will have extensive experience of working closely with a supply chain to deliver. You will have a proven track record in developing high performing teams and a strong background in delivering financial and operational success.
You will be a dynamic and collaborative individual with excellent communication and influencing skills. You will have a strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds, and hold a relentless drive for continuous improvement, with the ability to innovate and anticipate unexpected issues and challenges as they arise.
