Are you passionate about environmental compliance and regulatory processes?

 

Join our team as a Pollution Specialist based at the Severn Trent Centre in Coventry! In this role, you'll ensure we meet all regulatory requirements for pollution incident reporting and recording. 

 

You'll own the pollution incident ODI assurance and regulatory appeals processes and manage our relationship with environmental regulators regarding water company pollution incident reporting.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

 

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in the water industry or regulatory environment.

You'll manage the new pollution appeals process, leveraging your expertise in the Environment Agency’s 16_02 and CICS guidance.

 

Strong stakeholder management skills are essential as you'll build strong relationships with the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales, ensuring our compliance and accuracy.

You’ll collaborate with internal teams to gather the best evidence for challenging decisions and use data from past successes to improve our approach.

 

We want someone with exceptional organisational skills, that can manage their own time effectively to ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner.

 

Finally, you'll produce performance reports, support regulatory reporting, and ensure timely submission of storyboards and appeals. Plus, you'll handle unique incidents, drive process improvements, and ensure safety compliance.
