Performance and Change Manager - 12 Month Secondment
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Performance and Change Manager will play a central role in improving outcomes across the TCS portfolio. You will lead the development and embedding of performance frameworks, KPIs and governance processes that support strategic priorities, providing clear visibility and insights that enable effective decision‑making.
You will drive change initiatives across Waste Treatment Delivery, assessing readiness, developing communications and training plans, and ensuring changes land effectively and deliver measurable and sustainable benefits. You’ll also be responsible for benefits realisation, lessons learned and continuous improvement.
Supporting programme and portfolio activity across TCS, you will implement Smartsheet tools, facilitate performance meetings and offer oversight that strengthens consistency and delivery across multiple programmes of work.
This is a key leadership role where you will manage and develop a team of performance and change professionals, carry out quality assurance and compliance reviews, and build strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders across the business.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
You will have experience working in project, programme or PMO environments, with a strong background in delivering change programmes and embedding performance frameworks. Your analytical capability will enable you to identify trends, improvement opportunities and meaningful insights that enhance performance.
You’ll be confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels, bringing strong facilitation skills and the ability to secure buy‑in for new processes and ways of working. A collaborative approach, improvement‑focused mind‑set and strong leadership capability will be essential to your success.
You will also bring:
- Experience in performance reporting and data analysis
- Strong presentation and engagement skills
- The ability to lead and support teams through change
- A proactive approach to driving continuous improvement
Qualifications you will need:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Driving licence or ability to travel across Severn Trent sites
- Project Management qualification or equivalent experience
Desirable:
- Degree in a related discipline
- Safer, Better, Faster Practitioner (or equivalent)
