Our Network Control team have an opportunity for you to join as our new Network Controller.  
 

In your new role, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring we meet our defined standards we deliver for our customers, communities, and the environment. Using your expertise, you’ll ensure that all planned network interventions, which take place on our Water network are planned, risk assessed and delivered to SLA.
 

The significance of the work you’ll do as a Network Controller makes this such an exciting project to be a part of and will give you the opportunity to work collaboratively across a wide range of multidiscipline teams as well as working individually to deliver first class customer service.
 

As Network Intervention Controller you’ll also have knowledge of Hydraulics, Network Operations, a firm understanding of maths and engineering.
 

So, are you a Network Controller who has the ability to make quick and precise decisions? Has a brilliant work ethic and can work with multiple stakeholders to deliver project objectives?
 

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:

County Ownership
Take ownership of a designated County, acting as the key link between Network Control and the Local Operations Team. Ensure all interventions are logged, recorded, conflict-checked, and planned within SLA’s.

Stakeholder Engagement
Represent Network Control locally by hosting workshops and focus groups with internal and external stakeholders. Be the go-to person for County-specific knowledge within the team. Work

Team Support
Support overall team workload by completing a variety of risk assessment-based tasks. You may also support other controllers dependent on work volumes.

DSR/Tanks Programme Delivery
Contribute to the DSR and Tanks programme by producing risk and contingency documentation to support the isolation and return to service of assets.

Programme Planning
Provide expert input to support the planning and delivery of major infra, non-infra, and capital schemes. Help reduce risk and identify opportunities for efficiency and collaborative cost savings.

Team Contribution
Actively contribute to Network Control objectives, team meetings, stand-downs, and development days.

Flexible shift window between the hours of 7am – 5pm 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

 

We’re seeking our new Network Controller to be comfortable using their initiative to look for new opportunities to improve the performance within your area, constantly coming up with faster, better, more efficient ways of delivering a service to the customer.
 

To be successful, you’ll ideally be a qualified in Engineering, experienced in using various technology, and hold a full UK driving licence.
