We have an exciting new opportunity to join Severn Trent’s new Pollution Response Team (PRT) in Network Control, our environmental emergency service.

The PRT swiftly responds to Waste and Water events to prevent and mitigate pollution, using specialist vehicles and equipment. Our highly trained technicians aim to minimise environmental impact and support field teams, providing a reliable 24/7 service.

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Respond to pollution events and mitigate effectively using specialist tools and equipment.
  • Maintain operational readiness and respond within agreed SLAs, documenting evidence and providing updates.
  • Set up traffic management, raise notices and permits electronically, and connect generators to maintain power.
  • Execute on-site operational activities, perform vehicle checks, liaise with departments, and ensure compliance with regulations. 

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

 

 

To be successful in this role you must hold a clean valid driving license. A Class 1 or 2 license is desirable but not essential.
