EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Join us as a Team Manager for the Staffordshire area and lead a high-performing operational team making a real impact. You’ll be responsible for a critical part of our Bioresources operation — managing sludge treatment, renewable energy generation, and the production of high-quality biosolids that support Severn Trent’s environmental and carbon reduction ambitions.
In this role, you’ll take full ownership of site performance, compliance, and team development, leading from the front to deliver strong operational results. You’ll oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of sludge treatment assets, ensuring maximum green energy generation through biomethane and electricity production.
A key part of your role will be ensuring delivery of a compliant biosolids product aligned with the Biosolids Assurance Scheme and Farming Rules for Water, strengthening trusted relationships with the agricultural community.
You’ll also play a vital role in the safe and efficient operation of steam boilers and Thermal Hydrolysis Plant (THP) processes, with support to achieve the BOAS M qualification.
This is a role for someone who combines strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong people leadership. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Bioresources and Wastewater Recycling to deliver permit compliance, regulatory outcomes, and continuous improvement.
You’ll lead operations across sites in the Staffordshire area, including:
- Strongford (THP Site)
- Brancote (Raw Sludge Dewatering Site)
