We currently have an opportunity available for a Data Delivery Specialist based in Shelton.
This is a key role that covers end to end data management relative to service channels and customer treatments across the value chain/lifecycle with a strong understanding of customer experience measures.
The role holder will be seen as an enabler to delivering best outcomes for Severn Trent and its customers, owning data build, production, and delivery to support varied and multi-levels of complex processes, both existing and new, as the team evolves in terms of thinking and capability.
Multi-tasking is a key strength as you will be expected to support the short, medium- and long-term objectives of the Data Delivery function focussing on best in class data solutions together with maintain and improve Operational performance through delivery of data solutions into the Retail business – Voice and Non-Voice customer touch points.
You'll be based at our Shelton site in Shrewsbury. You’ll work within our dedicated Data delivery team and with this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
If you have exceptional data and problem‑solving skills, along with experience in database interrogation, then you’re exactly who we’re looking for. You’ll bring a strong understanding of large‑scale, data‑driven environments and an appreciation of how customer quality, experience, metering, billing, cash collections and debt‑risk management all connect. You’ll be confident using SQL (essential) and Python (highly desirable) while being highly proficient with Microsoft applications—particularly advanced Excel, PowerPoint for presenting insights, and Power BI for building impactful dashboards. You’ll also play a key role in developing and maintaining documentation to support both new and existing processes.
We’re looking for someone who can translate business needs into effective data solutions and communicate complex information in a clear, simple way. Strong listening skills are essential, helping you understand requirements and offer meaningful, informed input.
