What you’ll be involved in:

 

  • Partnering with Resourcing Business Partners and hiring managers to understand resource requirements for the business area you will be supporting.
  • Proactively sourcing, engaging, and building relationships with high-potential candidates using a variety of channels (job boards, LinkedIn, networking, internal talent pools).
  • Delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience, ensuring communications are clear and there is a seamless flow throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to recruitment analytics and reporting.
  • Supporting end-to-end recruitment processes and participating in projects to enhance our recruitment strategy and candidate experience.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

  • Proven experience within an HR function, dealing with recruitment activity.
  • Experience recruiting for a variety of roles is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring managers across all levels of management.
  • Confident communicator, able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using recruitment technology, candidate management systems or HR systems is desirable.

You’ll need to be an engaging person as interaction with our hiring managers and candidates is a massive part of this role, as is the ability to work well with all your colleagues across Resourcing, Talent and the wider HR team – we’re very collaborative at Severn Trent.

 

The role requires office working four days a week, with the option to work one day a week from home.
