EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We are looking for a Reporting Lead to drive the development, governance, and delivery of all reporting across the AWE contract. This role will play a key part in ensuring clear visibility of KPI performance, meeting all regulatory and contractual reporting requirements, and producing high-quality outputs for both internal and external stakeholders.
You will ensure that data is accurate, timely, and insightful, enabling informed decision-making, effective risk management, and continuous improvement of contract performance.
This role is based in Reading
Key Accountabilities include:-
- Lead reporting strategy – define standards, governance, and deliver contract-aligned reporting
- Own KPI framework – develop, manage, and provide insight on performance, risks, and opportunities
- Deliver regulatory reporting – ensure compliance, accuracy, and audit-ready outputs
- Lead internal reporting – provide dashboards and governance packs, driving automation and efficiency
- Own client reporting – produce clear, insight-led reports aligned to contractual requirements
- Ensure data integrity – implement controls, validation, and secure data governance
- Drive BI development – optimise tools (e.g. Power BI), integrate data sources, and automate reporting
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
In order to succeed in this role, you will be an experienced and capable reports developer with strong technical expertise across the Microsoft Power BI suite, including both Pro and Premium environments, and an understanding of working with Premium Capacities.
You will bring significant experience in data presentation and visualisation, ideally through Power BI, alongside familiarity with supporting tools such as DAX Studio and ALM. A solid awareness of wider BI technologies and best practices is important, as is experience working with multiple data sources and relational databases.
You will also have advanced Excel skills, a strong customer-focused mindset when working with both internal and external stakeholders, and excellent communication skills complemented by a high level of attention to detail.
This role requires a full UK driving licence and the flexibility to work a nine‑day fortnight when required.
