Aqualytix is a growing Water Hygiene/Water treatment company, dedicated to helping our customer to meet the requirements of ACOP L8 and HSG274 Parts 1 – 3, HTM04-01. We provide services to Universities, Care Homes, Schools and Colleges, Commercial Premises, Housing associations as well as industrial plants across England, Scotland and Wales using our industry leading compliance software and automation tools.

We are now recruiting for a Water Hygiene Service Technician to join the team, supporting the Northamptonshire area. This will include Wellingborough, Kettering and Rushton.

 

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

As a Water Hygiene Technician, you will deliver a high level of customer service whilst meeting health & safety compliance. You will provide our client base with both contract management & Service Support, Specialising in Water Hygiene related activities such as:

 

  • Overseeing multi-site visits across diverse geographic locations.
  • Carrying out monitoring and associated tasks in line with ACoP L8 when required
  • Providing support to both customers and colleagues with technical input where required.
  • Carrying out Hazard/Risk assessments as required on each individual sites.
  • Maintaining safety standards in the field

 

This will be a start from home role, with travel across your allocated region as required in one of our company vans, for this reason you will need a Full UK driving license.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

Our new Water Hygiene technician would ideally have:  

 

  • City & Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training
  • Experience of TMV servicing
  • Knowledge of both Domestic and Industrial water systems
  • Computer & smart phone literacy

 

It would be useful if you had a working knowledge of the applicable legislation and guidance material (ACoP L8, HTM: 0401, Water Regulations, BS 8580), but isn’t essential.
