EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

 

We’re on the lookout for aCapital Programme Liaison Specialistto play a vital role in supporting our Capital Commercial Services (CCS) and Wastewater Treatment East teams as we deliver our AMP8 projects. Youll be responsible for making key operational design and installation decisionscovering everything from plant OPEX and REOC to layout, access, lifting, and maintenancethroughout the feasibility and design phases of our capital programme.

 

This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across Wastewater Recycling and CCS to ensure smooth access to process plant and strategic assets, helping us deliver projects efficiently and on time. You’ll also be hands-on, supporting operational teams with key activities on the ground to make sure our solutions are practical, safe, and ready for the real world.

 

Your key accountabilities will include:

 

  • Share operational expertise to support capital project delivery
  • Input into designs to ensure consistent operation, maintenance, and TOTEX outcomes
  • Help CCS teams create practical, cost-effective design solutions
  • Support the delivery of efficient capital projects on the ground
  • Work with team managers and technicians to resolve design and maintenance issues
  • Assist with RAMS and R&C plans for safe access to key assets
  • Keep operational teams updated on project progress, risks, and OPEX impact  

 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

To succeed in this role, you’ll need solid experience in maintaining and operating water assets, along with a strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes. You’ll bring practical project delivery skills, be confident producing technical documents, and have a good grasp of Health and Safety standards. The ability to challenge constructively and work collaboratively is key, and as the role involves travel across sites, a full UK driving licence is essential.
