At Severn Trent, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Join us in making a positive impact on the environment and our communities, while being valued and supported in a truly inclusive workplace.

If you want to do more, because you care, we want you on our team.

LET’S TELL YOU MORE

We’re looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to join our team and oversee Potable Tank Remedial projects across the Central Midlands region. In this role, you’ll make sure everything runs safely, smoothly, and to the highest standards for health, safety, water quality, and the environment. You’ll be the key link between our in-house teams, contractors, and stakeholders- keeping projects on track, on budget, and fully compliant. If you’re proactive, organised, and ready to take ownership of site activities, we’d love to hear from you!

Your role as Site Supervisor will be all about keeping projects safe, on time, and on budget. You’ll oversee all on-site remedial and construction activities, making sure work is carried out to the highest standards. From pre-construction checks and enabling works to approving risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), you’ll ensure everything is ready for a smooth start.

Day-to-day, you’ll be the go-to person for quality, health and safety, and environmental compliance. You’ll hold teams accountable for following procedures, carry out regular site audits, and keep detailed records such as diaries, photos, and logs. If incidents occur, you’ll work with the Project Manager to investigate, identify root causes, and put corrective actions in place.

Communication is key in this role. You’ll liaise with statutory bodies, local operators, third parties, and customers, attend site meetings, and represent Severn Trent Water professionally. You’ll also help resolve customer queries and contribute to project reviews, making sure lessons learned are captured for future success.
