LET’S CUT STRAIGHT TO IT

Are you looking for a role where you can help protect some of the region's most critical infrastructure? We're looking for a Reservoir Technician to support the safe operation of reservoirs across our network, helping ensure compliance with the Reservoirs Act 1975 and maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational assurance.


What you'll be doing

  • Monitoring and maintaining records for a portfolio of reservoir sites.
  • Coordinating statutory inspections, interim visits and valve testing programmes.
  • Collecting, auditing and analysing reservoir monitoring data.
  • Supporting the preparation of technical reports and team progress updates.
  • Liaising with operational teams, engineers and supply chain partners to ensure work is completed safely and effectively.
  • Providing administrative support to the Dams & Reservoirs team.
  • Ensuring safety equipment remains compliant and fit for purpose.

 


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR


  • Experience in an engineering, operational or technical environment.
  • Awareness of health and safety legislation and safe systems of work.
  • Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to present and interpret data.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work independently when required.
  • Awareness of the Reservoirs Act 1975 would be advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Whilst not essential, a relevant engineering degree (or equivalent) would be preferred, or the willingness to work towards a relevant qualification.
