EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Water Delivery team. The team is based across our three offices in Shelton (Shrewsbury), Raynesway (Derby) and Finham (Coventry). 

 

Reporting directly to the Lead Project Manager, the Project Manager will be accountable for delivering projects on capital and maintenance work on Hafren Dyfrdwy and Severn Trent surface water reservoirs and balancing ponds.  The role will focus on, but will not be confined to work on the Hafren Dyfrdwy sites in Shropshire and the successful candidate must be prepared to regularly travel to these sites.

 

As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role to make sure projects stay on track, are delivered on time, within cost, and focusing on the quality of the project. You will be expected to lead a project engineer or an assistant project manager in the delivery of your programme.

 

You’ll manage several projects at any one time, in line with risk mitigation processes, and financially track the progress whilst managing budgets.  You’ll work collaboratively with our in-house design engineers, external design consultants and delivery partners, PMO and Commercial teams, as well as monitor performance against project programmes.



 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

You’ll ideally be degree qualified in a technical engineering discipline, qualified or working towards Chartered Engineer status and have a qualification in APM or PRINCE2. We will consider appropriate transferable experience.

 

You’ll be a forward thinking and innovative Project Manager handling multiple multi-million pound capital engineering and construction projects using a gated project delivery process.
