Network Optimisation Support Technician

With that in mind we’re looking for a Network Optimisation Support Technician to help us as we do so at our site in Sugarbook, Bromsgrove or Staverton, Gloucester.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our Network Optimisation teams are responsible for ensuring that the Company meets, maintains, and improves levels of service to our customers for clean water delivery.
Within this role you'll play a part in ensuring that the performance of assets on the Distribution network is up to scratch. Its key that whilst you must be comfortable to work alone that you also have team working and stakeholder skills as you’ll work closely with the Network Optimisation Technicians to optimise our network.
This role will require physical and operational data to be checked, maintained and recorded though field survey, testing and review of STW asset records. With that said you must be comfortable with going out in the field as well as working with online reporting systems.
You might not always get the answer you want or need after an initial check, so it's key that you are driven and determined to keep working until an answer is found and a solution is put in place. Once you have those answers, your communication skills will come into action as you’ll need to relay your findings to other areas of the business and your peers.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
You’ll need to be able to use IT systems. You’ll have excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to influence colleagues of all levels effectively. You’ll have strong organisational skills and you`ll be able to work on own initiative.
