Field Performance Team Leader

 

The role will be to cover the Gloucester area.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Field team as a Field Performance Team Leader.

 

Managing a team of multi-skilled Metering Technicians, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all metering field activity is completed effectively and efficiently.

 

You’ll be responsible for driving team performance and aim to improve a customer’s overall experience which is at the heart of all we do here at Severn Trent.

Having a full UK Driving License is required.

 

This role requires you to work  Monday - Friday 8:00– 16:00

 

That’s right, set shifts and no weekends!

 

 WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE 

 

 The key accountabilities of this role will include:

 

  • Ensuring that all customer and business metering queries are dealt with in a timely manner and feedback from the field teams is received back by the business via the agreed process.

 

  • Investigating and resolving Health and Safety jobs identified across the team and taking full responsibility for compliance and promotion of safe working practices.

 

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and/or the introduction of value-add services within the metering field journey.

 

  • Having full compliance to all company and departmental Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments and Lone Working policies and procedures always.

 

  • Maintaining accurate records regarding field work completed to allow for audit of all customers facing activity.

 

  • Pro-actively managing customer enquiries and complaints through until resolution.

 

  • Delivery against all Key Performance Indicators with particular focus on customer experience and operational effectiveness against stretching budgets

 

 Apart from being a great fit for the team you’ll ideally have a strong people management background, with experience of dealing with household and non-household customers.

 

You’ll drive team development and creating a high performing team.

 

A good understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures and experience managing a remote field-based team. You will have excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to think objectively to plan, prioritise and resolve tasks, in a demanding target driven environment.

 

As this role involves travel, so  a Full UK Driving License is Required.

 

You’ll need to be proactive and have the right attitude to work as you will be out on site most of the time.
