We're looking for experienced Project Managers who are passionate about delivering projects that make a real difference to our customers, communities and the environment. You'll be comfortable leading projects through their full lifecycle, managing stakeholder relationships, controlling budgets and risks, and ensuring safe, successful delivery of capital investment projects.

 

We're looking for an Project Manager to join our Capital Delivery team.

 

HOW WE WORK

 

Working arrangements vary across our Capital Delivery teams and are agreed on a manager-by-manager basis. As a result, office and home-working expectations may differ depending on the team and role you join.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

·  Proven experience delivering engineering, construction, operational or capital projects from initiation through to completion.

·  Strong project management experience, including programme management, risk management, budgeting and forecasting.

·  Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.

·  Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge where appropriate.

·  Experience managing contractors and supply chain partners to achieve project outcomes.

·  Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of project controls.

·  Ability to make decisions, manage competing priorities and drive projects forward.

·  Full UK driving licence

 

Desirable:

·  Experience within the water, wastewater, utilities, engineering or infrastructure sectors.

·  Experience delivering medium to large-scale capital projects.

·  Knowledge of NEC contracts and project management frameworks.

·  Understanding of CDM regulations and health & safety requirements within a project delivery environment.

·  APM qualification or equivalent.

·  NEC accreditation.

·  Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, Environmental or Project Management related discipline.

 

 

Our Capital Delivery teams are responsible for delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across our Water, Waste and Infrastructure programmes. As a Project Manager, you'll lead projects that improve and maintain essential services for millions of customers while helping shape the future of our water and wastewater networks and treatment assets.
