LET’S TELL YOU MORE
We’re looking for a highly organised and tech-savvy individual to join our Waste Network Proactive Operations & Performance Team. This is a role where your attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities will make a real difference.
In this position you will be the central support for our performance and operations team. Working closely with the delivery manager and their team of 17, helping to coordinate meetings, manage diaries, and keep our systems running smoothly.
Whether it’s pulling performance insights, supporting training logistics, or helping colleagues navigate tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP, you’ll be the person they rely on. If you enjoy being the glue that holds a team together this could be the perfect fit for you.
You will be based at our Raynesway site in Derby. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, working Monday – Friday.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll need to be comfortable working under pressure, managing your own workload, and supporting others across the team. Experience in a similar support or admin role is helpful, especially if you’ve worked in utilities or a technical environment. A full UK driving licence is essential.
We’re after someone who’s confident with data and digital tools, and who can turn performance metrics into meaningful insights. You’ll be expected to bring a strong analytical mindset; able to interpret trends, extract insights, and support decision-making through performance reporting and analytics.
Skills and experience are important, but character, positivity, and a caring attitude matter too. We welcome and celebrate diverse individuals, knowing they help us better serve our communities. We seek people who get involved, want to be part of something bigger, and make a difference because they care.
