Are you ready to lead with impact and shape the future of operational planning?  We’re looking for a dynamic, strategic leader to join our Workforce Planning and Optimisation team in Derby.

 

You’ll lead a large team to optimise scheduling, resource deployment, and productivity, while delivering cost-effective outcomes across the STW network. With a focus on continuous improvement, stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven decision-making, you’ll champion consistency, drive transformation, and ensure our customer commitments are met.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a strong track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, particularly through periods of significant change. You’ll have proven experience in influencing senior leadership to drive operational improvements, using clear, data-backed communication.

 

A background in field operations or resource management is essential, along with analytical problem-solving skills and familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.

 

You’ll be confident working with systems such as SAP, Salesforce FSM, and eScada, and have a solid understanding of the Production/Non-Infra Water and Waste sectors.
