EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW  

 

 

We’re looking for a Team Leader to work within our Metering Operational Performance Team.

 

Who will be responsible for effectively leading and providing performance management for a team of 7 to deliver a high level of customer service and satisfaction for metering contract operational activities. To achieve this, you’ll pull on your natural people leadership capability to drive engagement and continuous development of the team through structured management and coaching & mentoring including effective 1-2-1 discussions

 

And if that wasn’t enough, you’ll be spotting potential in your team members to nurture, grow and develop, removing barriers and driving team performance.  

 

Working 37 hours per week you’ll be based in our Raynesway site in Derby, where you’ll be able to park for free or get to with ease with loads of local travel options. You’ll work alongside our Metering Support Team, who all love what they do.

 

 

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE 

 

 

Your exceptional leadership skills and passion for driving performance and delivering results through positive customer experience is what we are looking for.

 

You’ll be effectively motivating and leading your team, conducting regular performance reviews and following all internal HR policies to ensure good staff management and leadership at all times. 

 

Ensuring the highest maintenance customer service standards are achieved, through a flexible approach, regular quality checks and continued support in the progression and development of your team through the skills reward model. 

 

Providing regular feedback to individuals clearly and constructively against performance whilst highlighting areas for development and improvement, ensuring the outcome is positively received. 

 

Ensuring the meter reading & planning function is managed efficiently by collaborating with your team of planners & engaging with key stakeholders.

 

Working closely with the metering operations manager & data analysts to drive improvements and new ways of working.
