Are you an analytical problem-solver with data translation expertise? We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a Strategic Planning Lead Analyst in Workforce Planning and Optimisation based in Derby.
As a Strategic Planning Lead Analyst, you’ll be the conductor of our operational symphony, ensuring we have the right resources to deliver top-notch customer service. You’ll coach like a pro on all matters capacity planning - forecasting of multi- channel demand, lead process engagement, and master shift creation. This role is pivotal in collaborating with Operational Leadership, driving performance, and optimizing plans within the Resource Planning Hub to meet our service and cost standards.
Key accountabilities in this role include:
- Own demand and capacity planning: Engage with stakeholders on all strategic resource planning matters.
- Collaborate with the Forecasting Insight Expert: Continuously refine and improve capacity and forecasting models.
- Partner with operational teams: Act as a key interface between senior stakeholders and wider Contact, Insight and Planning Team.
- Create structured reviews: Analyse performance vs. plan to identify risks and opportunities for service, cost, and employee engagement.
- Run forecast reviews: Use insight and root cause analysis of all key capacity planning metrics to inform and refine long-term capacity planning.
- Provide expert knowledge: Share expertise on forecasting, scheduling, and automation.
- Drive performance understanding: Offer insights to ensure key service metrics are met.
- Contribute to the Resource Planning Cycle: For aligned accurate delivery from strategic longer term planning to short term tactical planning.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
First and foremost, we expect you to have extensive experience in contact centre resource planning, specifically in forecasting and capacity planning. We’d also like you to have an understanding of Contact Centre metrics and KPI’s.
Proven experience in influencing senior stakeholders to drive operational improvements is a must.
We are looking for someone with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in MS Access, SQL, and VBA, along with an understanding of data visualization tools like PowerBI.
