LET’S TELL YOU MORE
Are you a natural problem-solver who thrives under pressure and communicates with clarity? Do you know your way around scheduling tools and use data to drive smart decisions? We’re on the look out for multiple proactive and detail-oriented individuals to join our Workfoce Planning and Optimisation team as our new Regional Planners.
As a Regional Planner you will be responsible for a defined region, you’ll build and maintain a forward-looking plan - typically up to three months ahead - that maximises operational efficiency, optimises field team capacity, and supports service excellence. You’ll collaborate across multiple functions to ensure the right work is planned at the right time, balancing customer needs, performance targets, and operational constraints. With full ownership of your region’s plan, you’ll play a key role in driving service delivery, aligning with key SLAs, and continuously refining plans based on feedback and data. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy making a tangible impact, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll work Monday – Friday between the hours of 7am - 4pm and will be based in Pride Park, Derby. To enable in person collaboration with key stakeholders you will be required to travel to our operational sites for regular in person meetings and therefor, a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is needed.
HOW WE WORK
You'll join a caring culture that collaborates to achieve, grow, and develop. Our employee engagement scores are among the highest globally in energy and utilities. That’s why, we value in-person moments to keep our culture alive but also understand the flexibility working from home can bring. So, you'll usually find us in the office, but working from home is supported, when you need it.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for highly organised, detail-oriented individuals with excellent communication, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills. You’ll be confident working across regions, adapting quickly to change, and collaborating with departments, contractors, and stakeholders.
Strong technical proficiency, including basic Excel and scheduling tools, is essential, along with a solid understanding of scheduling principles and Health & Safety awareness.
You’ll be customer-focused, data-savvy, and able to influence outcomes to meet SLAs. If you’re resourceful, resilient under pressure, and committed to delivering high-quality work, we’d love to hear from you.
Skills and experience are important, but character, positivity, and a caring attitude matter too. We welcome and celebrate diverse individuals, knowing they help us better serve our communities. We seek people who get involved, want to be part of something bigger, and make a difference because they care.
