EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As one of our MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) Commissioning Engineer’s you will join us within our Capital Delivery team, supporting various capital programmes working on water and waste projects, utilising your knowledge to provide a clear strategy for commissioning activities.
Having a broad knowledge around Process Commissioning, Water and Waste water treatment plant and technologies, you will form a major part of the commissioning team, developing and delivering detailed commissioning methodologies and driving continuous improvements.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be a key driver in the testing of our assets and bringing them into service. The role will offer you the autonomy to introduce new processes and will offer you the freedom to think innovatively. You will be responsible for the successful commissioning and handover of a project, contributing to design meetings, factory testing, site acceptance testing, HAZOP meetings, development and acceptance of testing criteria, commissioning and training plans.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Ideally you will be HNC/ HND qualified in an engineering discipline, however a time served engineer with a background in the water, waste or process industry will also be considered. You will have strong experience in commissioning activities such as risk awareness and mitigation. You will have a strong technical engineering knowledge gained from highly regulated industries such as water/ waste, chemical, aerospace, or power. Ideally you will need to be electrically qualified and highly conversant with the latest regulations, although not essential for the right candidate.
You will have an understanding of network control, with demonstratable experience in the verification of plant processes and performance. A collaborative leader, with excellent stakeholder management skills, you will have strong planning and implementation skills with a working knowledge of engineering supply chains.
