Asset Manager - Sewerage
Our purpose is taking care of life’s essentials, but we’re also big on making a difference, not just because we should but because we care.
A vacancy has come up for an Asset Manager to join our team at our site in Raynesway, responsible for managing our company-wide CCTV sewer survey data and leading our critical sewer CCTV programme.
Do you have a strong working knowledge of InfoAsset Manager/InfoNet?
Are you confident managing large datasets and ensuring data quality and integrity?
Do you have experience coordinating programmes of work across multiple teams and stakeholders?
If so, then read on.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As an Asset Manager, you’ll play a key role in two critical areas of our wastewater asset management strategy.
Firstly, you’ll be the owner and gatekeeper of our CCTV sewer survey database, held in InfoAsset Manager. You’ll manage incoming data from teams across the business, ensuring it meets our quality standards through robust auditing and validation processes. You’ll also handle data requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring they have access to accurate and timely information to support decision-making.
Secondly, you’ll lead the delivery of our critical sewer CCTV programme, a business-wide initiative that ensures we proactively inspect and assess the condition of our most important sewer assets. You’ll coordinate with regional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure the programme delivers high-quality outputs that inform future investment decisions.
This is a role that blends technical data management with project coordination, and you’ll be a key enabler of effective asset planning and risk-based decision-making.
You’ll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, constructively challenging where needed, and mentoring junior team members to build capability across the team.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a strong working knowledge of InfoAsset Manager (formerly InfoNet), as this will be central to both the data management and programme delivery aspects of your work. You’ll be confident working with large datasets, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility across the business. Your ability to coordinate programmes of work and manage multiple stakeholders will be key, as will your communication skills and attention to detail. Ideally, you’ll also bring an understanding of sewer networks and CCTV survey processes, along with an engineering or data-related degree—or equivalent experience—that supports your technical capability. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who brings positivity, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset to everything you do.
