We’re currently recruiting for a Water Quality Distribution Specialist.

In this exciting role, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining the integrity of potable water networks through rigorous testing and sampling, while driving continuous improvement to prevent network failures before they happen.

This opportunity sits within our Severn Trent Services business, a commercial arm of the Severn Trent Group and you will be part of our small team of go-to experts on contract and commercial matters.

Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:
- Management of network improvement programme
- Root cause Investigation of service failures leading to lessons learned and implementation of improvements
- Provision of Contract and Customer responses in relation to both water and waste networks
- Compliance with Private Water Supplies Regulations and audit requirements
- Targeting of network flushing activity and analysis of data collected to improve programme
- Provision of Water & Waste technical advice and support to operational teams and in support of Engineering projects Identification of network risks and provision of advice to mitigate and improve
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong understanding of water and wastewater operations, a good grasp of the regulatory landscape, and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. You’ll bring hands-on experience, a practical mindset, and solid IT skills—plus a full UK driving licence to keep you on the move.
