Waste Networks Optimisation Specialist

With that in mind, we are looking for Waste Network Optimisation Specialist to join our Asset Planning (Waste Networks) Team. This base location for this role is Severn Trent Centra, Coventry, but will require travel around the region.
In our role of Waste Network Optimisation Specialist, you will support the Waste Networks Optimisation Lead, proactively improving the operational performance of the waste infrastructure and non-infrastructure asset classes in the Waste Distribution (Waste Infra) element of the Severn Trent Value Chain.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
In this role you will be part of The Waste Network Optimisation Performance team who will ensure we understand the performance of our network. You will be supporting the Network Operability Specialists in identifying opportunities to adapt the network when and where necessary, escalating and capturing areas where we are not meeting these parameters, as well as aiding the delivery and maintenance of our pressure monitoring programme.
Some of the key accountabilities for this role include:
- Supporting the Network Operability Specialists with their site investigations including producing summary packs
- Ensure our assets operate within parameters set.
- Utilise tools which monitor the performance of our asset base.
- Investigate emerging risks, building a view to support investment decisions
- Utilise our risk tools and their outputs to articulate risk to the business.
- Support in the maintenance of our operational contingency plans
- Support in the installation and maintenance of our pressure logger fleet
- Delivery of improvement to customer service and key ODI performance commitment

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
You will also require operational experience to ensure you are well equipped to investigate failures and understand pre-emptive measures required to mitigate future impact.
Communication and stakeholder management skills will be key to ensure you can communicate and influence across various audiences whilst identifying, delivering and/ or improving solutions to improving efficiency.
