LET’S CUT STRAIGHT TO IT

Are you ready to shape the future of our waste networks strategy? We’re looking for a Waste Networks Strategic Analyst or a Strategic Asset Manager to lead the development of our long-term strategy for storm overflows and support the team with PR29 deliverables.

You’ll drive cost-effective, regulator-approved solutions to secure our future wastewater supply for the next five years and beyond. The ideal candidate will be confident with Excel and able to work with complex datasets to drive systems thinking over a 25-year time horizon. You’ll also have a can-do attitude, willing to seek out the answers to the unknown by influencing and building close relationships with various stakeholders, including senior management.


Some of the other key accountabilities:

  • Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop strategic assessments of storm overflow options
  • Provide data-driven insights for our waste networks asset classes which feeds into our business plans
  • Lead strategic business cases and bid assessments
  • Influence regulatory policy

You'll be based at Office in Coventry or Derby, working within our Waste Networks Strategic Asset Planning Team. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week. Travel to other sites will be required at times so you’ll need to hold a full U.K driving licence.
