LET’S CUT STRAIGHT TO IT
We’re looking for an Update Technician to join our Asset Intelligence team, helping keep our asset data accurate, up to date, and fit for purpose across our wastewater network.
What you’ll be doing
- Updating and maintaining asset registers for below ground assets
- Analysing technical documentation and translating it into accurate system data
- Checking data quality, identifying gaps and challenging inconsistencies
- Supporting project teams and contractors with asset data and documentation
- Producing stakeholder reports and ensuring updates meet agreed standards and timelines
- Collaborating across teams to improve processes and ensure high-quality data delivery
- Engaging with stakeholders (and occasionally visiting sites) to support programmes of work
You'll be based at our Head Office in Coventry. You’ll work within our Asset Intelligence & Innovation team. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience working with data, databases, or asset records
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies
- Confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
- Good IT skills (knowledge of SAP or GIS is a plus)
- Understanding of water or wastewater networks (desirable)
