We have an exciting opportunity for a Transformation Business Analyst to join our team. In this role you will work across the business, with both internal and external stakeholders, to deliver value across the project lifecycle.
The role sits within our Group Transformation team and is a business focused BA role rather than tech. You can expect to deliver a variety of different activities including process and customer journey redesign, supporting tenders, drafting options papers, and assessing business change impacts.
You should be able to plan analysis work and manage/influence our key stakeholders to ensure they are both bought into our direction of travel but also understand what we are doing.

What you’ll be doing
- Be benefits driven, understanding the size of the problem/opportunity and value to be gained, helping to support the development of business cases.
- Use your analytical and problem solving skills to help get to the root cause of issues.
- Be practical and creative in identifying and evaluating solutions.
- Build strong relationships across the business, manage expectations effectively, and be able to influence stakeholders to reach decisions and achieve desired outcomes.
- You will be a strong communicator, able to simplify complex information and be adaptable/creative in tailoring to stakeholders.
- You will be a good facilitator and collaborator, able to build links with different levels and teams, manage differences of opinion and run workshops/meetings to support analysis and design activities.
- Lead on shaping the analysis approach and plan.
- Be an active member of the Business Analyst practice helping to share learning and build good practices.
HOW WE WORK
You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre in Coventry. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week.

As a Business Analyst with us we would be looking for you to have experience in delivering and leading a variety of analysis and design work across the project lifecycle. You’ll have great stakeholder management, influencing and problem solving skills. You will have experience of designing business solutions/journeys to benefit the business. We’ll want you have practical experience in drawing sound conclusions and making suitable recommendations.
