We are looking for a proactive Telemetry Outstation Optimisation Lead to join our Network control Telemetry team!
As the Telemetry Outstation Optimisation Lead you will ensure that our 7500 telemetry outstations (£15M asset value) are operational to ensure that an operational response to an alarm can be made by Operational Control Centre and all Field Operatives and Maintainers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure that the 7500 telemetry outstations that monitor all of our water and waste operational assets are fully functional, operational and able to generate alarms reliably. 99.9% availability is the minimum target.
- Delivery of the £5M 2G communication upgrade AMP8 project and PSTN cutover deliverable.
- Management of a field technical team that will optimise telemetry outstation performance
- Ensure that all outstations are compliant to cyber and Network and Information Systems Regulations
- Innovate, test and rollout telemetry outstation functionality to support the Pollutions, Spills and other ODI commitments
