LET’S TELL YOU MORE

Are you ready to shape the future of integration at Severn Trent? We’re on the lookout for a Senior SAP Integration Engineer to join our dynamic Shared Services team. This team is at the heart of our integration platforms, including SAP BTP, which underpins the connectivity of our core business systems. With major transformation projects underway—such as our migration to the Kraken customer platform and the shift from SAP ECC to S/4HANA—this is a pivotal time to join us and make a real impact.

In this role, you’ll lead the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions across SAP PI, CPI, AEM, APIM CIG, and NetWeaver Gateway. You’ll collaborate closely with architectural, functional, and Basis teams to ensure seamless integration across SAP modules and third-party systems. From producing high-level design documents to supporting the transition of projects into BAU, you’ll be instrumental in driving technical excellence and ensuring our integration landscape is robust, scalable, and future-ready.

Beyond project delivery, you’ll provide 2nd and 3rd line support, manage service requests, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll also play a key role in supplier governance, lifecycle management, and roadmap alignment—ensuring our platforms remain secure, supported, and strategically aligned. If you’re passionate about integration, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to be part of a team that’s enabling digital transformation across the business, we’d love to hear from you.

You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre Head Office in Coventry.  You’ll work within SAP Apps team of around a dozen people all working on similar projects and pulling in the same direction. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, working Monday to Friday.

If you're someone who communicates clearly—whether that's writing things up or talking through a problem—and you’re comfortable working closely with client teams, you’ll fit right in.

You’ll need to be naturally curious and detail-oriented, with strong planning and problem-solving skills. We value people who take initiative, spot areas for improvement, and follow through to make things better.

What you’ll bring:

  • Hands-on experience in SAP PO, NetWeaver Gateway, CPI, AEM, and APIM development
  • Solid experience with SAP PI 7.3 or above, including both dual and single stack environments
  • Familiarity with N+1 landscape setups and a good understanding of SLD and PI architecture
