About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer (Process). The role will be based in Finham (Coventry). The Senior Design Engineer will lead on all technical aspects of feasibility and design for a variety of water treatment projects, driving innovative, efficient, environment friendly.

 

You’ll provide design of technical solutions for water treatment facilities. This will encompass technical inputs to projects from feasibility, through to outline design, detailed design, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and deliver technical designs for water treatment facilities from feasibility through to commissioning and handover.
  • Drive design efficiency and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with design standards and assurance processes.
  • Lead the creation of TOTEX solutions that address business challenges.
  • Review and validate third-party designs to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to agree on design milestones and assessments.
  • Proactively manage risks and maintain risk registers throughout the design process.
  • Embed Health & Safety considerations into every stage of the design lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery and operational risks, including environmental and commissioning concerns.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

 

You’ll be degree qualified (desirable) and showing your professional commitment as a member of one of the engineering Institutions or actively working towards incorporated or chartered status, a journey which we are keen to support you on. Having water industry background would be great but not essential however an engineering discipline would be required. 

 

You will have excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people. You will be a forward-thinking capable of anticipating challenges and responding to change in a rapidly evolving environment.  A full UK driving licence will be required.
