We’re looking for our next Senior Commercial Analyst to join the team. Read on for all the details…
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As our Senior Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for collating and interrogating a variety of departmental data including compliance, overall performance and our cost v’s budget. All this will be to provide timely insights on the monthly and yearly performance of Developer Services and highlight any patterns and trends.
In this role, you will use all data sources including historical trends and qualitive and quantitative information to test inferences and use this to provide timely insight to drive performance improvements through stakeholder management.
Your key accountabilities in this role include:
- Use data to make reasonable projections/inferences in order to proactively inform key stakeholder of potential metric failures or variances.
- Develop and enhance knowledge of reporting systems including SAP and Microsoft solutions to improve the reporting functionality of the business for key performance metrics.
- Produce and own documented standard operating procedures to drive compliance across the performance data metrics.
- Communicate business insights and recommendations on opportunities for performance improvement and value for money to a variety of stakeholders including the senior management team within commercial team and Developer Services.
- Work with stakeholders to reach a consensus on decisions and desired outcomes and support to provide critical information to determine key objectives/measurements for success and track process against these.
You’ll be based in our Coventry headquarters, Monday – Friday with some travel to other sites for meetings.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

In order to succeed in this role, we’ll be looking for you to have experience of cleaning, interrogating, and scrutinizing high volumes of data, and being able to produce meaningful reports, insights and high-level management information. We’ll also look for you to have proven experience of using reporting tools including SAP, Excel or BI/MI to provide data oversights for key stakeholders.
We’ll want you to have the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to get their input, share knowledge and insight to drive efficiencies, doing this with a proactive approach. You will need to use your initiative and look ahead to anticipate problems or areas for process improvement.
