Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation and making a real difference in communities? If so, we’re looking for a School Relationship Manager to lead the way in building meaningful partnerships with schools and educational institutions across our region.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Building and nurturing relationships with schools and educational bodies to support our societal strategy.
- Design and deliver an ambitious employability programme from the ground up, focused on empowering young people from areas of deprivation. You’ll keep up to date and research to ensure our content is in line with the curriculum and industry trends.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive school employability offer, ensuring impactful delivery across partner schools. This includes educational resources and workshops to develop essential employability skills.
- Contribute to programme development, offering feedback from schools and trainers, identifying opportunities, and escalating risks where needed.
- Champion our social value goals, promoting Severn Trent as a socially purposeful company.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our Academy, New Talent, and Communications teams to amplify our message and reach.
You'll be based at our head office in Coventry, but we’ll need you to travel across the Midlands to deliver our programmes. You’ll work within Societal Strategy and Communications team. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us up to 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll have proven experience in secondary education, youth work, or a related field and a solid understanding of the education system and the challenges faced by young people.
Our ideal candidate has a creative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and feedback-driven messaging. You’ll have exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to inspire and engage both learners and stakeholders.
You’ll feel comfortable using data to drive decision making to inform and enhance our schools programme delivery.
