Project Coordinator

Join Severn Trent’s River Health & Enhancement Team as a Project Coordinator at our Coventry office on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. In this critical and dynamic role, you will help shape and ensure successful delivery of our Spills Programme to meet our spills performance targets and environmental commitments.
As our River Health Project Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving environmental impact across multiple sites and regions. Working closely with Delivery Project Managers, you’ll ensure our teams are fully equipped to deliver innovative solutions by producing effective work plans, coordinating feedback, and maintaining clear communication. This role is all about collaboration—building strong relationships with internal teams and contractors to keep projects running smoothly.
You’ll lead planning and prioritisation meetings using databases and BI reports, ensuring visibility of progress and that every action is recorded and solutions tracked within our assurance and governance processes. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Key accountabilities include:
- Produce reports from the Solution Tracker BI dashboards for the required governance and planning meetings
- Collate feedback and solution option reports to feed into delivery workstreams
- Create and update Team documents and tools such as electronic Comm Cell
- Ensure minutes at planning and project meetings are recorded along with the Risks, Issues, Actions, Dependencies etc.
- Liaison with third party contractors and direct team planning teams to track and challenge planning commitments, related paperwork and feedback.
- Prepare project quality, control and performance feedback against metrics (such as Solution Tracker Data Quality)
- Responsible for monitoring Workstream Solution Tracker updates are accurate and timely
- Keep a track of resources across the delivery programme and workstreams to ensure necessary cover is in place
- Responsible for managing permissions and access requests to Solutions Tracker and other databases
- Responsible for solution closure and assurance processes such as data upload and first line assurance
- Support the wider River Health Team as required as well as other Project Coordinator’s in times of absence
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

We’re seeking an experienced candidate with a background in project coordinating large, complex, or multi-disciplinary programmes - ideally within operational, construction or related engineering fields.
You’ll have a proven ability to plan projects and track progress, working closely with supply chains and internal teams to meet milestones, gather information and achieve quality standards.
You are proactive and forward-thinking, skilled at anticipating challenges and developing effective solutions. You’re confident in analysing data and management information using tools like Power BI, SharePoint, and Excel, and adept at managing project documentation and communication.
You’ll play a key role in facilitating discussions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and you’ll bring an all-rounded Project Coordination experience with a capability on managing varying stakeholders and bringing them together collaboratively.
Relevant certifications in project coordination or management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are desirable.
