Within our Capital Delivery department, we are looking for a Project Coodinator!
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with Project Managers and SDO to align reporting throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for tracking and reporting progress, as well the coordination of information from internal colleagues, design consultants and contractors. This role is key to keeping the data aligned and processed consistently.
Accountabilities:

Support the creation of project schedules and maintain accurate project documentation alongside the project team.

Record meeting minutes, capturing risks, issues, actions and dependencies.

Maintain the project collaboration workspace and ensure timely updates.

Prepare reports and information packs for governance and project boards.

Ensure systems are maintained to enable monitoring of project progress, budgets and time recording to support accurate financial tracking.

Coordinate contractor and supplier documentation to ensure compliance.

Ensure design documentation, commissioning plans and key project information is distributed appropriately.

Support tender and contract documentation preparation.

Assist with resource coordination for project activities.

Support the development of business cases with accurate data collation.

Supports the co-ordination of H&S and training amongst the team, sharing completion reports with senior management.

Consistently complies with all Health & Safety and organisational standards and compliance, acting as a visible advocate for health, safety and wellbeing.

Identifies opportunities to drive efficiencies through the use of AI.

Work across multiple sites and locations as required to support project delivery.

Experience required:
-
Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously and producing data reports.

Experience working collaboratively within a team environment.

Understanding of, and ability to, demonstrate discipline with standards, codes, and project practices.

Organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Clear communication, report writing, and presentation skills.

Proactive and forward-thinking, able to anticipate issues before they arise.

Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power Bi).

Qualifications required:
-
GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
-
Full UK driving license
Key competencies required:
Safety in construction
Demonstrates awareness of key Health & Safety legislation (including CDM) and understands how it applies to projects. Applies the Principles of Prevention, uses core safety tools, and supports risk identification, safe design discussions, and compliance activities under supervision.
Project management
Understands core project management and governance principles. Maintains project plans, schedules and cost forecasts, tracks delivery against time, cost and quality, and supports change control, assurance activities and post-project reviews.
Stakeholder management
Identifies stakeholders, supports stakeholder mapping, and maintains communication plans. Provides timely, accurate updates and proactively seeks feedback to inform project activity.
Contract management
Supports contract administration under supervision, assisting with Early Warnings and Compensation Events in line with NEC4. Monitors supplier performance and supports resource planning activities.
Budget management
Understands cost plans and supports estimating, forecasting and cost tracking under supervision. Assists with accurate financial reporting.
Critical thinking
Supports requirements definition by analysing needs, constraints and delivery options under supervision.
