Due to an exciting new programme which is going to see us deliver for our customers a full mains renewal across the UK over the next few years we are now on a significant recruitment drive to scale our teams to deliver this fantastic work.

This is your opportunity to play a part in this exciting transformation!

 

We are looking for a Programme Planner to support the planning, execution, and delivery of the Mains Renewal project. This role involves coordinating with programme managers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Programme Planner will also be responsible for maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and providing regular updates.

 

Other key accountabilities include:

•Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.

•Coordinate with programme managers and team members to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.

•Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues that may impact delivery.

•Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

•Assist in the development and implementation of project management processes and best practices.

•Facilitate project meetings and workshops, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.

•Track and manage project budgets, ensuring financial control and accountability.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE 

 

The successful candidate will have experience in project planning and management, preferably in large scale projects. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.) would be beneficial. Working in a fast paced environment and excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is required. Full UK Driving License will be necessary as this role will be travelling to different sites on occasions.
