What a fantastic opportunity to join us as Process Assurance Advisor. The role is responsible for ensuring we pay our suppliers for goods purchased along with credit control management of miscellaneous income across key STS customers.

The purpose of the role is to ensure all supplier invoices are paid to the agreed payment terms with the end goal of ensuring STS achieve 95% in paying suppliers within 60 days and invoices from our key external customers are collected in a timely manner.

 

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:

 

  • Processing invoices (both electronic and paper) against Purchase Orders and GRNs.
  • Processing invoices (both electronic and paper) against Purchase Orders and GRNs.
  • Use initiative and imagination to achieve targeted results, while providing excellent customer service.
  • Ad hoc tasks as and when necessary, within the same team as well as other teams. Identifying root causes for non-payment of invoices.
  • Communicating best practice to suppliers and our internal users to prevent issues from occurring.

 

You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre  in Coventry.  With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week.

We’re looking for a candidate who has experience in an accounts payable/receivable team and worked in Billing or Credit Control. Awareness of general accounting procedures, taxation, accruals, and VAT procedures would be beneficial.
