Are you passionate about driving innovation and ensuring project excellence? We’re looking for a Portfolio PMO Planner to lead governance, assurance, and delivery oversight across our Innovation portfolio on a 12 month fixed term contract.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Overseeing the development and validation of complex programme plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Conducting governance reviews to assess planning quality, milestone realism, and critical path integrity
- Providing second-line oversight to challenge assumptions, dependencies, and delivery confidence
- Ensuring planning artefacts (e.g. schedules, RAID logs, resource forecasts) are accurate, maintained, and used effectively
- Monitoring progress against plans and ensuring timely intervention when deviations occur
- Supporting scenario planning and reforecasting to maintain delivery control and transparency
- Facilitating governance forums with clear reporting on planning status, risks, and decision points
- Driving continuous improvement in planning practices through lessons learned and trend analysis
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Proven experience in PMO or programme delivery roles, ideally within large-scale or multi-workstream programmes
- Experience applying governance frameworks and planning tools across diverse delivery models, including internal teams and external suppliers
- Strong communication skills to engage senior stakeholders and challenge planning assumptions constructively
- Financial and commercial awareness to support forecasting, benefit tracking, and supplier performance management
- Ability to empower delivery teams and suppliers to build credible plans, while ensuring timely escalation of risks and delivery challenges
