Marketing and Communications Manager
Hello, we’re Severn Trent Services a commercial arm of the Severn Trent Group. We provide water and waste services to companies nationwide, including the MoD.

We’re currently recruiting for a Full time Marketing and Communications Manager join our team on a 12-month FTC.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As the successful candidate you will lead the creation and delivery of bold, engaging marketing and communication campaigns across Severn Trent Services both internally and externally. You’ll own digital channels including web, email, social, and partner with multiple business areas to bring our brand to life. Working closely with a range of business’ as well as Severn Trent’s communications team, you’ll help shape our strategy while managing stakeholders, building strong relationships, and ensuring every piece of content hits the mark.
Some of your key accountabilities will be:
- Responsibility for creating effective multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns that deliver on business strategy, with clear measurable outcomes.
- Manage the development and delivery of the strategic internal communications plan, in conjunction with group internal comms, for the business directorate ensuring it aligns with the broader communications strategy.
- Liaise with stakeholders at all levels across the different business areas whilst keeping them continuously updated on agreed campaign milestones.
- Manage the procedure, implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns.
- Develop detailed plans that provide visibility on planned activities which are timebound and provide transparency on how targets will be achieved.
- Manage budgets for individual projects and channels and suggest ways to maximise value
- Develop the internal messaging and channel strategy for our colleagues ensuring we can effectively communicate with them via SharePoint, Teams, Email, WhatsApp Communities etc.
- Act as a business partner to multiple business area acting as a conduit between the business leads and the wider communications team ensuring that they have one key point of contact but equally have access and can benefit from the wider team skills as and when required.
- Manage and develop one direct report, fostering growth and performance through coaching and support.
- A full UK driving License will be required for this role.

You’ll lead the charge in crafting and delivering marketing plans that make an impact, while bringing proven experience in driving internal and external engagement, especially with large, dispersed teams.
You’ll thrive on building strong stakeholder relationships and managing projects from concept to completion, ensuring every detail delivers results. Your ability to orchestrate large-scale, high-profile events will set you apart, and your deep knowledge of digital marketing channels will help you create campaigns that truly stand out.
