EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Marketing and Campaign Manager to join our Brand and Marketing team at Severn Trent. Reporting to the Brand and Marketing Manager, you’ll lead the development and execution of our marketing and communications strategy for the Water business.

This is a pivotal role where you’ll shape customer-facing campaigns that drive behavioural change, increase brand awareness, and help us meet our performance targets. You’ll work closely with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to deliver impactful, insight-led campaigns that resonate with our customers and align with our broader marketing vision.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Creating and delivering a coordinated marketing and communications strategy for water-related campaigns
  • Briefing and managing internal and external creative teams
  • Setting campaign targets, monitoring performance, and taking action to optimise results
  • Partnering with insight teams to develop customer research and inform campaign direction
  • Aligning activity across PR, internal comms, and customer teams
  • Managing budgets and ensuring best value from our design and media partners
  • Supporting the development of the Brand and Marketing team and acting as a marketing ambassador across the business

HOW WE WORK

At Severn Trent, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We build strong relationships across teams and levels, working together to deliver meaningful change for our customers and communities. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, agile environment where ideas are welcomed, innovation is encouraged, and impact is celebrated.

We value:

  • Strategic thinking grounded in customer empathy
  • Insight-led decision making
  • Creative flair and brand instinct
  • Accountability and a commitment to quality
  • Open communication and shared learning

You’ll be supported by a passionate team and empowered to lead with confidence, creativity, and purpose.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a confident and experienced marketing professional who thrives on turning insight into action. You’ll be someone who understands the power of strategic communication and knows how to craft campaigns that not only capture attention but also drive meaningful behavioural change. You’ll be passionate about making a difference—whether that’s helping customers use water more efficiently, improving brand perception, or supporting our wider environmental goals.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to bring a strong track record in marketing and communications, ideally with experience in behaviour change initiatives. You’ll be comfortable developing and delivering multi-channel campaigns, managing creative agencies, and working with media planning and buying teams to ensure maximum impact. You’ll have a sharp eye for creative execution and a deep understanding of how to measure success—using data, research, and customer insight to refine and optimise your approach.

Collaboration is key. You’ll be a natural relationship builder, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership. You’ll work closely with internal teams across PR, customer insight, design, and operations to ensure your campaigns are aligned, on-brand, and delivering against our strategic objectives.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Thinks strategically but acts decisively, with a clear focus on customer outcomes
  • Has a strong grasp of consumer behaviour and market trends
  • Is curious, creative, and open to new ideas and channels
  • Communicates with clarity and confidence—visually, verbally, and in writing
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and can juggle multiple priorities with ease
  • Holds themselves and others to high standards of quality and delivery

If you’re ready to bring your energy, expertise, and ideas to a role where you can make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
