EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We have an opportunity for you to join our Finance team as a Group FP&A Lead Accountant, where you’ll provide high quality and insightful financial reporting and analysis to support board, executive committee and business decision making.

Key responsibilities will include:

Monthly management pack reporting for CFO, Severn Trent Executive Committee (STEC) and Board.
Quarterly forecast analysis and annual budget setting alongside Business Partnering team.
Key role in the half year and year end process, co-ordinating financial and performance reports and analysis for Investor Relations, the CFO and STEC.

You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre in Coventry. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

Financial qualification in ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
Experience within Finance, including exposure to business operations.
Strong analytical mindset and ability to draw insight from data.
Ability to articulate a position and make recommendations to leadership.
Ability to build strong and credible working relationships across the organisation.
Strong process improvement mindset.
Optional: Experience using Tagetik, SAP ECC and SAP BW.

This role is perfect for an ambitious and driven first-time mover out of practice.
