EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have an opportunity for you to join our Finance team as a Group FP&A Lead Accountant, where you’ll provide high quality and insightful financial reporting and analysis to support board, executive committee and business decision making.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Monthly management pack reporting for CFO, Severn Trent Executive Committee (STEC) and Board.
- Quarterly forecast analysis and annual budget setting alongside Business Partnering team.
- Key role in the half year and year end process, co-ordinating financial and performance reports and analysis for Investor Relations, the CFO and STEC.
You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre in Coventry. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:
- Financial qualification in ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
- Experience within Finance, including exposure to business operations.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to draw insight from data.
- Ability to articulate a position and make recommendations to leadership.
- Ability to build strong and credible working relationships across the organisation.
- Strong process improvement mindset.
- Optional: Experience using Tagetik, SAP ECC and SAP BW.
This role is perfect for an ambitious and driven first-time mover out of practice.
